Today’s daily puzzle sucked. Protein is not rocks!

App constantly opens safari to a webpage telling me my phone is infected and to download software. No other apps are doing this.

I play one game a day to keep the game going, and am down to my last game before moving on to level 65 (which requires an update). But I found a trick. I enjoy this game so much that I downloaded it onto a new device without syncing it with the old device. So now I’ve begun playing it daily on my new device. The trick to gaining coins is to play a few levels to gain coinage, then play a game a day, so you can collect the 100 coins from videos and daily games. As for having too many ads, that’s only if you don’t pay for the ad free (which will also gain you a few more coins). Yeah, I remember the day when everything was a dollar, too. But this game lasts so long and is so addicting that it really is worth punching one of the green and purple buttons to remove the unwanted ads. Then you can enjoy the game and build your coinage by watching videos when you choose to watch them. Plus, I have to say that one farm ad with the chicken and cow…I enjoy trapping the chicken in a corner so he can’t get out. 🤣 I’ve trapped the cow, too; but the chicken’s clucking is more fun to listen to. So right now I still have the game on the new device that will keep me busy while I wait for them to update the game on the older device that is almost done. I’m hoping they at least keep it going to level 100. That’s only 36 more levels. If you’re still wondering if you should download this game, I highly recommend it.

I started playing this crossword puzzle recently. It’s addictive! I love the challenge of scrutinizing the photo & then finding the words to fit in the crossword grid. Love it! Thanks!

This could be a great game except for the ads! They are ridiculous.

This game is so much fun! I would love to see a One Clue Crossword #2 and #3. After all, you can only play #1 so many times and get the right answers! Thank you for a fun game!

Need give more tokens. I’m about ready quit this game. Too hard get tokens. I’m 84 yrs. Your answers when I do surveys always say I not qualified. Probably cause my age. So probably very soon I’m quitting thisgame

Ads are too frequent and too long. Deleted before finishing first chapter. Couldn’t stand to play it long enough to decide if I wanted to pay for ad free version.

I paid to remove ads but I still have them. I would advise others not to fall for that scam. However, it’s a good game and I enjoy playing it.

I really love playing One Clue Crossword, but there’s a difference in the game I have on my iPhone and the one I have on my iPad. My iPhone game has the “Mix-Up” addition within the game, but my iPad does not. Why is this?

Addictive but also challenging and easy to gain more coins to continue by watching stupid ads

I can’t believe you are legitimizing the le crueset false ads as part of method to obtain coins or tokens for this game. Had a friend that was scammed this way and would think you wouldn’t want to legitimize this practice.

Nowhere in the picture is ARMS for the answer for Sept 20th, 2024. Make sure the answer actually matches the picture

This is a fun game, however some of the words are very hard to figure out. Plus to “double” your reward coins often have you watching a 60 second ad! I don’t want to watch an ad that long. I will keep playing until I run out of coins which won’t be too much longer.

The Omaha/ Joanna Gaines ad is a SCAM, SCAM !!!!!! Please remove!

We discovered this game years ago. Shortly after started playing we made it our nightly routine of doing the daily and 1 regular puzzle. I’d one of us has to travel then we FaceTime and still do it together. I see where others complain about having to pay to continue. If you watch the ad each time it is offered to double the tokens you won’t have to, but there is often times I just don’t feel like watching an ad so I pay to add tokens, it is only a couple bucks and worth every penny. Please continue to update this game, we have a night time routine to maintain. And thank you for a great game.

I like the game but getting updates takes too long.

this has the LONGEST ads of any game I have EVER played. Ditto CristaMcD. Most on “Words With Friends” ads are 5 to 15 seconds long. I sit through them but am quickly tiring of THIS app. I do like Mix-up, even though it uses the same pictures. I have gotten OVER 42,000 points twice. Please decrease your ad’s times and utterly, very overly, repetitiousness of the ads. YAWN. AND there are times that the ads time is up but nothing will get it to leave the screen. When that happens, I have to stop and completely restart the game and the reward is always gone even though I have watched OVER 60 seconds of it AGAIN. If situation comedies ran ads like youdo it would be a sentence and an ad, a sentence and an ad, etc. etc. And now a NINETY second repetitious ad. Ridiculous.

I love this game, BUT it has stopped having new puzzles fore me. What’s wrong?

I maxed out on Classic and Mixed Mode levels and there is nothing else available. I still have coins and tokens would love to keep playing this but no more available like it.

Way to many ads

This crossword puzzle is fun to play. Will also make you think. Can become addictive and you will find yourself playing hours at a time.

There has been an issue with a portion of the app for almost a week now. Seems to be no interest in getting it fixed. What a disappointment.

Can not play level 60 mix up I have completed level 59 completely

Way too many forced commercials! Not enough tokens! You can barely play 3 puzzles

Updated 4/21/24: Good game. Glitches seem to be fixed. A ridiculous amount of ads. Original post: The app has become very glitchy since the last update. The screen freezes a lot and I have to exit the app completely and go back in to unfreeze it. But even then, it only works for a little while. I am playing on an iPad 4 Mini (new release from last year) and running the latest iOS software. I’ll change my review when this issue is resolved.

Seem to be more than before.

I played the sample game with Pizza then in my first game was an incorrect spelling in the jewelry box one clue. You spelled jewelry with 2 L’s!

This is Absolutely without a doubt my FAVORITE game!!!!! It's the first one I go to when I want to play. Word games are my fav and this one is great!! So glad to see more puzzles were added. Please keep more coming, I'm addicted!!! Yes there are a lot of ads but those are necessary to keep the game “free”. There are not so many as to keep me from playing So thank you for a fun game!!

Really stupid game. I gave it a 2 because it didn’t have a whole bunch of ads but as a game-this was a no. Plus the side games it incorporates like A cheap copy of the game WORDLE Just can’t even really be called a crossword puzzle other than that was the grid. It was nothing like a real crossword.

Too many videos to watch. Shouldn’t have to pay to ignore ads. We have a life and these games waste time, energy advertising. Don’t get sucked in and do Not shop at a certain ad research before supporting.

There haven’t been new puzzles added

I like the game but there were five ads for one game. It just got to be too much. I spent more time watching ads than playing the game. For that reason, I’m out.

I was doing very well with the game and they figured that out. Started making the game harder with very low rewards. Quit offering first letter of word clues, even to buy. I don’t understand why they literally made it too difficult for me to continue after 2 years!

There are some blatantly obvious words, but others are words that come from minuscule details in the pictures or a broad-sweeping category that the picture fits into, both of which make the game more challenging. I think the clues are UK English, as a few times I have come across words that do not fit the clue according to US English, but when I google the word it shows up as a term mainly used in the UK.

So glad it finally came back.

Updated to 4.11.0 on iOS 12.5.7 then app crashes every 10 seconds. Fix the bugs please

The game makes you think but the ads are annoying and long.

Challenging and rewarding with lots of rewards to keep you interested in achievements and climbing to higher levels.

The premise is a good one. However, the fact that wi-fi use disables the ability to watch ads for coins is ridiculous. The videos only play half the time on data. But of course, there is no issue playing ads in the middle of a game. It’s invariably rigged to make you spend real money for coin & token packs.

Too many Adds.. need to enjoy the game without Adds popping up.

This is a game that requires one to think and is a fun game. However, it is too overloaded with excessive long ads between play. Lately, the opportunity to watch videos to earn more tokens is ghosted all of the time.

I understand it’s a free game and therefore the need for ads but once I have seen the ad and I am not interested having to click more than once to close the ad is more than annoying.

Please make clues factually correct. Regarding today’s 7/14/18 Daily Clue: Batteries are not Electricity. They are another option for power. 7/11. Please update so I can play. If not, let the players know you won’t be updating nor adding new puzzles. Weird to ask to get the app yet the puzzle you’re advertising with is unavailable.
